The Ordinary Glycolipid Cream Cleanser came out in May, and quickly became the bestselling cleanser of the year. Honestly, I’m not surprised, because the first time I tried it, I was blown away. It’s super gentle and creamy, and despite not foaming, it removes grime really well. Plus, unlike most cream cleansers, it rinses away thoroughly without leaving residue on your skin.

The next most popular cleanser was iS Clinical Cleansing Complex, which was also on this list in 2022. This one has achieved cult status for good reason. It has a uniquely non-drying gel texture, making it suitable for all skin types, and it does an amazing job of both removing makeup and cleaning your skin.

I can’t live without a bottle of Bioderma Sensibio H2O, and it appears that you guys feel the same way. This cult classic micellar water easily removes all traces of makeup (even waterproof makeup) without irritating your skin or eyes. No rubbing or rinsing required!

I actually haven’t tried the Honest Makeup Remover Facial Wipes myself, but they were your most-purchased face wipes in 2023. These were recently reformulated, so now they’re fragrance-free, compostable, and able to remove waterproof makeup.

Of course, COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid (which I’ve been recommending for years) was the bestselling exfoliant. This is my top pick, too, because it contains betaine salicylate instead of salicylic acid. So you get the same skin-smoothing and pore-clearing benefits, but it’s way more hydrating.
